- Learn about the Island’s wildlife, ecology and history
- No experience necessary as full instruction is provided
- Tours operate 7 days per week (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day)
- Tours operate with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 customers
- Minimum age for participation in the tours is 7 years; each child under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult
- All tours are timed to coincide with the Sealink and Magnetic Island Sunbus services
Where
- From Horseshoe Bay to either
- The picturesque Radical Bay
- The secluded Balding Bay
- Or the remote Five Beach Bay area
- Note: Trip destinations may alter due to weather conditions and group ability
When
- Check in at 9.00am
- Horseshoe Bay beach front across the road from the bus terminus and mini roundabout on the beach to the right of the public toilets
- Tour returns and finished by approx. 1:00pm
Cost
- $85 per adult (in a double sea kayak)
- $160 for 1 adult and 1 child under 15 years (in a double sea kayak)
- $310 per family (2 adults + 2 children under 15 years in 2 double sea kayaks)

Getting Here
- Coming from town you would need to catch the 7:05am Sealink ferry from the Breakwater Terminal, which gets into Nelly Bay @ 7:30am
- The MI Sunbus departs Picnic Bay @ 7:20am for Nelly Bay
- There is a connecting bus which departs Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal @ 7:40am
- Getting into Horseshoe Bay @ 7:55am
Suggested attire for partaking in sea kayaking
- Bathers, shorts & shirt to paddle in
- Hat & sunglasses
- Footwear to get wet (sandals, joggers, w/suit boots)
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- A small bag containing towel and change of clothing for when you return
- We do have bottled water available for purchase prior to commencement of the tour
Please Note:
- November to May is stinger season
- The wearing of stinger suits during stinger season is compulsory
- We have a large selection of stinger suits for use in a variety of sizes
- We encourage anybody with their own stinger suits to bring them along to use
